Product Description Snore-Ex's anti snoring mouthpiece is an oral appliance also referred to as a Mandibular Advancement Device. The simple custom-fit mouthpiece positions and holds the jaw, opening airways for maximum airflow, thus reducing or eliminating snoring vibrations. More specifically, it provides a forward-positioning for the tongue, which is connected to the lower jaw. This increases airflow and minimizes the most common snoring cause - soft palette vibrations in the rear of the mouth. This is for adults only.

Not worth it July 30, 2010 161962 This mouth piece didn't work for me. It also put quite a bit of pressure on my front teeth causing mouth pain and headaches.
Works, kinda July 30, 2010 sagetiger This product seems to reduce snoring, at least so my spouse reports, but at the cost of a very dry mouth. Be careful when molding it to your mouth, as if you bite down too hard the device becomes misshapen. Delivery took a long time.
Ow, my aching jaw. July 29, 2010 Evan Kraft (Omaha, NE, US) I have to say first that the device does work. My snoring was less pronounced and I felt like I was getting better sleep. Having said that, my teeth and jaw ached for the next day each time I used the device. It works on a principle of moving your lower jaw forward to open your airway and thus eliminate the constriction that causes snoring. It does this by placing pressure on your teeth to move your jaw to the right position and it places a lot of pressure once your jaw muscles relax during sleep. I stopped using the device after about three weeks as it was not worth the pain, and I began to worry that my teeth were being forced into new positions in their sockets and even though this device is not that expensive, braces are. Hope this helps.

My loud snoring had become a huge problem for my wife. With this product, the snoring completely disappeared, immediately. It took a few days to get used to wearing it, but no problem after that.
This One Is A Winner! July 23, 2010 Cab F. (San Clemente, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My dear wife is a mouth breather, frequently has allergies, has some jaw problems so she is the snorer in our family. Interestingly the problem really got bad after her second pregnancy. She can sound like a roomful of snoring lumberjacks sometimes and my sleep and health have suffered as well as hers. She tried sleep studies, apnea evaluations, sprays, homeopathic remedies, sleeping propped upright,(resulting in backaches), side sleep pillows, earplugs for me, and other mouth devices. Finally after ten years of lying awake next to her I said "We're going back to square one and start over". I took over and started with evaluating her patterns. First she quit drinking a glass of wine before bed,(I thought it could be swelling her mucus membranes), then I had her take cheap OTC Claritin generic twice a day for 4 weeks, we got new pillows and a good HEPA air filter for our bedroom. Things got better! Then I evaled the mouth devices she was trying some of which were from Dr's Rx and cost over $100. She said they were uncomfortable and left her jaw sore. They were as a rule too big for her and didn't fit right. I could see the problem. OK I said we are going to try what I used in football that is fitted and protects a player's teeth. I researched what was out there and remembered my Pop's advice... go simple and cheap first if logic dictates the fix would work as well as something more complicated and expensive. With that in mind I found and purchased this product. Tips: When you boil then fit the mouthpiece just hold the bottom slightly forward with someone else watching to see if it is right. Just holding the lower jaw the slightest bit forward may work, and be comfortable, plus you can refit this device if needed. Be careful not to bite through the plastic. You will be mouth breathing through the hole, but tell yourself to and practice nose breathing every day and night. Also practice sleeping on your side with enough pillows to keep your head level. It took my wife about 5 days to get used to this mouthpiece. Halleluia! It works. And we are both sleeping better! I paid $26 with free shipping on Amazon. I recommend you try the Snore-Ex mouthpiece. zzzzzzz Cab.
