My daughter, 22 with shakey nutrition, disabilities and weighs 100 pounds on a heavy day....She loves this stuff. I was glad to discover this product as it helps her start out the day with a good calorie and nutrition load. I've sampled it and it tastes just like a rich vanilla shake. But I CERTAINLY don't need the calories. Great for our daughter. We have shared this product with very ill friends on chemo and with no appetite.

I have purchased two cases over the last months for my mother-in-law. Her weight loss due to cancer is now being offset a bit through this nourishing product. The product was recommended by her dietition and contains the specific nutrients needed and a much better taste than other products that my mother-in-law has used.

My husband in on chemotherapy and struggles with keeping "the calories coming" and not falling into a weight loss plumit due to the side effects of chemo. Currently, we are "attempting" 3,000 calories/day to try to help him maintain and hopefully gain a little weight! "Yes - Jenny Craig" - gaining weight can also be a challenge under certain circumstances." We have tried several of the high calorie nutrition drinks and so far my husband states that the Carnation 560 calorie actually tastes "good" - and so far he's not so sick of the taste that it's hard to keep him drinking it. (Currently, he has been drinking 3 per day.) Some of the others have tasted more like "medicine", according to this patient's report.
